Simple Roster Plus is not an employee phone clock-in app. Managers can enter attendance manually, or supported ZKTeco devices can send clock events to the system. There is no employee browser self-service punch, GPS, geofencing, or in-app kiosk mode.

Manual attendance
Add an in or out punch with an optional note. The product can suggest the next punch direction from the staff member’s latest record.
Supported device attendance
Supported ADMS-capable ZKTeco terminals can send compatible attendance events. Setup and compatibility limits live on our ZKTeco attendance integration page.
Compatibility depends on terminal model, firmware, and configuration. Device slots are software connectivity—not included biometric hardware.
Each terminal user ID can be linked to an employee at that location so incoming clock events attach to the correct person on the roster.
If a device event arrives before a user is mapped, Simple Roster Plus retains it instead of silently dropping the clock event.
Unmatched device punches stay available for review with the terminal user ID preserved.
Link the terminal user to a staff member when you confirm who should own those punches.
After mapping, earlier unmatched events for that user can attach to the employee.
Once punches land, managers compare them with scheduled shifts using an organization grace period. Vacation, sick leave, days off, and station-closed days also appear as leave-backed states.
